my hand to hold
whenever I am down
he lifts me up
within his touch
he is my breathe unbound....


there is I think a tenuous link
that brings
'my mate of soul - my hand to hold'
to me
whenever I glow dark
he is my spark
for he was my epiphaney....


I wear the ink that is the link
where the blood flows free
I feel the weight
of timeless fate
and what it meant to me
from black to white
I see the light
of changing the skin I wore
my ink of art
my link to past
I journey home once more......
