RACE

WAIRUA STANDARD
L.A. Maihi 2012
we race the mountain to the sea/we lay beneath the fallen tree/to seek to want to desire to see/what makes a man a woman like me/we take the curves with speed to spare/to make the swerves indeed a dare/we fly under the quilting moon/along the valley stacked in rune/the cry of owls clash above/into the night we pour our love/we crash upon a swollen shore/where feathers stretch their tips for more/the movement of the sand to shell/configures the bed in which we dwell/to envelope our nature worn with dust/this is the time to live in lust/the need it strikes a pose to time/when we can break out of the sublime/and take the waiting world by storm/for we have died and are reborn/the planets align and path the way/we live this life on earth this day/and follow the sun to the set/and rise again to forget....
