WEARY

MESMERIZED
L.A. Maihi 2012
I took the part that's buried to task/to wash to wait to handle/I read the words never spoken or heard/to die to kill the scandal/I leave behind this memory of mine/of want of hope of spark/I open the door I want it no more/to hurt to tear apart/I push it outside in the weather to die/a bite a scratch an itch/I wrap it in wire inflamed in fire/this knit of stocking stitch/I grow tired of life in constant strife/to small to matter at all/I look to the grave I sometimes crave/to go to bed to crawl/so bury me deep under the earth to sleep/I know where I want to fall/cradled in stone on blood and bone/I long to hear her call .......
